Criterion 2.2.2 – Pause, Stop, Hide (WCAG 2.1 / EN 301 549)
The home page features an automatically playing video showing impressions of the hotel. This video cannot currently be paused or stopped.

Reason for disproportionate burden (Section 12a (6) BGG):
A technical adjustment to the design in order to retrofit the pause and stop controls would involve a disproportionately high development effort. The video serves solely to convey the atmosphere of the hotel and does not contain any essential or relevant information. The other pages of the website are not affected by this issue.

Alternatives:
The video is also available on our official YouTube channel, where you will find the relevant control functions (pause, stop, volume, subtitles).

Criteria 1.4.3 – Contrast (Minimum) and 1.4.11 – Non-text Contrast (WCAG 2.1 / EN 301 549)
Certain text elements and graphical controls on the website do not currently meet the required minimum contrast between foreground and background colours.

Reason for disproportionate burden (Section 12a (6) BGG):
Adjusting the colour contrast to meet the minimum requirements would require a fundamental change to the existing corporate design (CI) and thus entail a disproportionate amount of design and technical work. In addition, a change in the colour scheme could impair the uniform appearance of the brand.

Alternatives:
To improve readability, an accessibility tool (‘WP Accessibility’) is available in the margin of the page, which can be used to activate a higher contrast mode. In addition, all information and reservations can also be requested by telephone or e-mail:
